I had a great time... can't believe how much information I received from the business school and the master classes.  It was a great event, and I can't wait for next year.

I have come back, refreshed and re-motivated.

All I can say is thanks to everyone who organised it and there hard work.

I did Tuesday to Sunday an thought it was real interesting.

Only thing I woulda like is better food sources. there wasn't enough time to Q at that bar in between lectures.

Some of my Favourite lectures were:

Gordon Mcgowen
(what can I say, Brilliant. an if anyone took photos of the model an the volenteer I'd love it if you could email me some Lo res)

Doug Gordon,

Dave Beckstead,

Clay Blackmore,

Antony Cava,

Doug Box

Guy Gowen.

Thanks to all the speakers, I learnt alot...

I have 55 images from gordon Mcgowan wedding masterclass on sunday with the model who was also used in john bailkies class
i try and post a few. His no -nonsense approach was refreshingly different from the norm, and i did understand most of it despite his strong accent, for me the best wedding masterclass this year

Hi Marilyn.

Thank you so much for a most informative seminar, my assistant Joanna and I went away totally fired up. We look forward to a steep learning curve to master the Corel progam, which we have already been playing with.

Best wishes,

Derek

Congratulations again on a superb Convention this year.  I had a great deal of fun, learn much and met and spoke to many interesting and inspiring photographers of all levels.  Everything – from business school to print competition judging and masterclasses to tradeshow – were of great benefit me.  The question is where do you go from here.  I honestly do not know – I do not know how you and your superb team (including that large naked man) what you could do better.

Kind regards

Received via email

Phil,

Thank you so much for all the planning and work you, Juliet and your team put into the SWPP Conference.  Carole and I both attended, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found it very useful.  Well done.

Hi Phil,

Congratulations to you both on the success of the Convention.   Well
done - sorry we couldnt be there.   Maybe next year.

Brian has had some leads from your website link - its encouraging to see it actually working good for us - unlike other entries on other pro sites!

WELL DONE AGAIN.

Cheers

Hi Phil, Juliet & Team,

What an absolutely outstanding conference.  An incredible feat of organisation that felt like the conference was a permanent feature at the hotel!  That takes some doing that does!

The SWPP staff were incredibly helpful and nothing appeared to be too much trouble.  Superb!

Really looking forward to next year already and will ensure I don't let the mother-in-law book a pantomime on the same day causing me to have drive back to Dover for the Saturday and then return late afternoon!

All the speakers I saw spoke with passion and love for the art of photography.  I left after three days with renewed inspiration and gusto to move forward with my photography - oh and with a merit in the 16x20 print comp - so proud to see my print on the board and a couple of chaps talking about it as I walked past!

Many thanks again to you all.  See you at Focus.

Hi Phil,

I just wanted to say it was a great show, and I felt as a wedding photographer primarily I benefited a great deal (I even won a Lovegrove Consulting Prize!).

Also, after Holly explained the high level benefits of why I should become a SWPP member I did on the day (and I appreciate the monopod too, which was a nice surprise). I look forward to utilising the benefits as a member.

Well done to you and your team.

Kind regards,

Anup

Hi Phil,

Many thanks to all the team at SWPP for a great evening at the Awards Dinner.

It is my first year as a member and although I didn't win the UK Press and PR Category, I certainly hope to back next year with a stronger portfolio.

Words cannot describe the SWPP conventition!!!!  It was a BLAST, VERY EDUCATIONAL AND SECOND TO NONE.  IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

What a blessing your two are!!  Your vision to lead a bunch of passionate photographers to a higher level is amazing.  You and your truly GREAT STAFF gave of yourselves above and beyond.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart and consider SWPP as family.  Sure, this is about photography, however, it goes beyond our common goal.  It is the flow back and forth..... people helping people.  We are blessed to have had so many good times and more important, met new friends from around the world.

Edie and I are eternally grateful to have been a small part of SWPP.
  THANK YOU AND JULIET!

We hope to see you at WPPI and return to London next year.

Thank you also for putting on such a splendid gig at Novotel - my first and certainly (God willing and the creek don't rise) not my last.

Hi I could only manage the Trade show on Friday but was told by a friend I had won a merit as she saw my picture on the Saturday.I subsequently won an award but had no idea until a friend who was at the awards dinner told me - today - Wednesday. If I had been contacted I would have been thrilled to go to the dinner and receive my award. I have still not been told officially.

So please, it was not that I could not be bothered to turn up - I was simply not informed and had I known I would have bust a gut to get there and be present. Were there many absentees?

Hi Juliet
Well done to you and the crew on a fantastic conference and awards.
Some great speakers, seminars, everything. Wonderful.
And thanks for my award (Uk Commercial Photographer of the Year 2007).
I've only been full-time since April so it's double brilliant!

My prize was some On One software, the Plug In suite.
Which I bought a few weeks earlier! I was wondering if you had a contact email or phone number of whoever supplied the prize, so I could see if I could swop it for one of the other OnOne software packages they do.

It's got to be worth a try!

Once again many thanks
