Hi from rural Cheshire (UK) in my post Xmas recovery mode! When I first agreed to give these presentations (probably because I'd been moaning about the lack of non wedding/portrait sessions) it all seemed a long time away but now its nearly here and I can't wait to get to the Convention.

I've been shooting digital panoramas for a few years now and I'll be showing some of my better work as well as some not so good ones. I believe that it's the ones that go wrong which you learn most from; and I've done a lot of learning! The emphasis will be on practical issues with only the essential theory so I hope you'll come along on Saturday at 6pm.

Flower photography is a long term passion, I was lucky enough to win the SWPP Nature and Environmental Photogrpher of the Year 2004 and for the last two years I've been presenting training courses via the RHS and Liverpool University. I take a creative approach rather than taking botanical record shots with a lot of macro, shallow depth of field work. I'll be talking about appraoches, technique and handy equipment. Sunday at 4pm, a nice change from weddings before the Awards Dinner.

I'll be around from Friday pm till Monday am so maybe bump into some of you at the Bar, meantime if you have any queries, get in touch.

Hi Andrew

I'll be at your flower masterclass, and am really looking forward to it as nature photography is one of my favourite things.
By then I'll probably be overdosed with weddings anyway.
I'll try to be early so I can get a seat in the front row Grin

Hi Penelope,

Great website and images, I really need to update mine but things always seem to get in the way.
I love your triptych pics, must get out to Arizona? sometime.
