....a little belated, thanks mainly to the flu bug I picked up which has resulted in me being completely out of action since shortly after getting back from the Convention!

So, thanks first of all to those that attended our portrait photograpy talks and asked such great questions. Thanks also to the SWPP team for being so helpful and for putting on such a fantastic event. I've posted a few shots from the Superclass on my blog if anyone would like to take a look http://www.turnerportraits.blogspot.com

Congratulations to everyone who invested in the Business School - a very wise move - and to all of the award winners and newly qualified members. We saw some inspirational images during the various judging sessions and some real talent emerging through the qualification system. One thing that did become apparent was the benefit to be gained from using the mentoring system before going for qualifications. Members going it alone, or worse, seeking advice and then ignoring it, tended to fare less well. Just a though.

All in all Janet and I had a fantastic week, mishaps and exhaustion apart, and are already looking forward to 2011.

I managed to get a place on Michael super class, I did the lets take a look at his website thing and to me there is a hidden brilliance.
a master at his craft. For me in the hard sell world of today Michael is a refreshing change.

After watching him work together with his wife Janet i think i started to understand if i had my family photos taken by Michael then
i would want every photo, he would not have to try to sell them to me, and i would be back  with friends time and time again, yes he is that good.

If you get a chance you really should go to see him

Thanks so much for your generous comments. Hopefully next year will be even better.

Joe...point taken about the website. I'm conscious of the fact that's it's looking a bit stale and I'm in the process of tackling it as well as looking at ideas for a new one. Useful feedback though - thanks again.
