I wanted to respond to David's post on the state of the rest of Europe. I have to say David I am more than impressed at your knowledge on this subject, is this something close to your heart, or are you mugging up for a go on Mastermind?
Oh and by the way, my wife profoundly disagrees with you about Hershey bars; if I bring home a Hershey bar she goes weak at the knees

God bless
Dave
My two main
hobbies obsessions since I was a small kid have always been cars and photography, unfortunately neither of which managed to keep me off the streets

The Beurocrats in Brussels tried to ban Cadburys from describing their products as chocolate within the EEC / EU about 20 years ago, stating that it contained too little cocoa (under 20% instead of 60+%, as far as I remember) and too much vegetable shortening to qualify as proper chocolate .... I personally think that they were worried and just trying to protect their own industry (Guylian in Belgium; Milka, Ritter and Stollwerk in Germany; Ferrero in Italy)

Incidentally, after Nestlé, Kraft is the second largest confectionary, food and beverage company in the world. Amongst numerous brand names, Kraft already owns Maxwell House and Jakob coffee, plus Milka chocolate !!! So adding Cadburys to its empire is a logical development for Kraft, and it will obviously not want to harm Cadburys in any way.
Plus most of the £11.5 billion for the Kraft takeover has been funded by the Royal Bank of Scotland, so effectively the British tax-payers have bought most of Cadburys

I'm not going to comment on your wife's sense of taste, except to say that she must be one in a million, since she likes Hershey chocolate and you

Oh .... and Kraft bought up Hershey chocolate in the late 1920s .... damn, I think I've just shot my own argument in the foot
